A fieldwork was carried out on the total area of 4 262.67 ha, which was pointed out as probable Natura 2000 forest habitats on the basis of the species composition of stands and forest habitat type. River valleys of the Sowie Mts and the Dzierżoniowska Basin, due to human long-term agricultural activity, were heavily transformed. Disadvantageous changes of river systems simplified penetration by invasive species. They make a serious problem to plant diversity, are burdensome to citizens, increase the threat of flooding and lower the beauty of landscape. In the middle 70-ties of 20th century,...
A new locality of Euonymus verrucosus Scop. has been found in the eastern part of the Wzgórza Trzebnickie Hills, near Malerzów village. The species is critically endangered in Lower Silesia and the only locality could be threatened by forest management.
A new locality of Diphasiastrum complanatum has been found in the eastern part of Twardogóra Hills, near Domasławice village. The paper presents phytosociological records of the mire nature reserve Torfowisko Kunickie near Legnica, SW Poland, which are compared with previous data. The clear effects of eutrophication of the mire surroundings connected with an increasing drying out (because of existed drainage ditch system and low rainfalls during last years) cause that associations of oligo-/dys- and mesotrophic habitats...
